Has it finally dawned on them . . .?
This is a question that I have pondered these past few years. You are probably wondering what is being talked about here? Well, back in January of 2009, there was an article published on this site called “Do They Even Realize What They’ve Done”; so it may do you well to read this article first to get an idea of where this one is coming from in order to understand.
Remember the big campaign word in 2008, “CHANGE”? I guess everyone wanted some changes in hopes of something better than the way the country was going. The sad thing is that the “change” to be made was not for the better, but quite the opposite. It certainly appears that all the things that we hold dear are gradually being taken away; like freedom. You may say, “Well that’s a pretty broad statement, just what freedoms are you talking about?”
Let’s just begin with freedom in general. We can still walk anywhere, drive anywhere, go to church anywhere, laugh, cry, think what we want and pretty much say what we want. These are all freedoms that we take for granted and probably consider part of our daily lives forever. Amen. This is America. That’s the way it’s supposed to be. We’re a free country, for now. But, all these things that we have taken for granted all our lives are being systematically taken away and people are actually cheering for it and welcoming this “change”.
Have people become so numb and robotic that they follow the direction of those bent on the utter destruction of this country, and the nations of the world? Have you thought about what it would be like to live where there is absolutely no freedom, no food, no water, no fuel, no Church (meaning the Catholic Church in particular and other faiths), and living in designated areas or camps? Can you imagine living in a country or world where there is no consideration for those who do not meet the criteria of the elite who would live as kings and queens over the survivors? The situation is coming to a very critical point and if the proper solution is not sought, we are in for some very difficult times as this world has not seen since Hitler’s Germany or Stalin’s Russia.
Have you noticed the increasingly Gestapo-like tactics of our law enforcement? Officers that we think are there to protect and serve now say their duty is to keep us under control. According to one retired police chief, there are an estimated 60,000 sexual predators on police forces across our nation, criminals of every stripe working for TSA, and the list goes on and on. It is not going to get any better unless something is done to bring about a real and Godly “change” for the good. We are bombarded with lies every day, from our politicians to the main stream media, in hopes that all of us will come to believe the “Big Lie” is somehow the truth. Does any of this have a familiar ring to it? Does the reign of Hitler and his final solution at Auschwitz and the millions that died from these very same tactics jog your memory? What about the estimated 120,000,000 to 200,000,000 that have died under communist regimes and in wars played out by our worldly overlords? Ask yourself, “Is history repeating itself?” Then ask yourself if you’re going to sit idly by and allow this heinous crime to simply happen again?
There is only one solution. It’s been there for a long time. What is it? The complete message of FATIMA. We must pray that our Holy Father, Francis I, will finally be obedient to the request of our Blessed Mother to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart. Don’t believe what the enemies of Fatima have said about this having been done. It hasn’t. Don’t fall for the lie. Ask yourself these simple questions: “Is there peace in the world? Has Russia converted to the Catholic faith as Mary promised will happen when Russia is consecrated to Her Immaculate Heart? Has Russia stopped spreading her errors?” Watch the news, read the paper; has this really been done? What will it take to get you to believe the truth?
For the love of God and the souls of your neighbors, pray the rosary like you’ve never prayed it before. Tell others, even non-Catholics, to pray for the consecration of Russia. To be sure, they probably won’t understand what you’re asking. Just tell them it is the only solution to the nightmare building in the world right before their very eyes. If they see the world crumbling around them and they want to continue to live free and stave off the great persecution, and the annihilation of nations Mary warned about if the consecration was not done, they and we must pray for the Holy Father to do this simple consecration. Don’t believe the world’s lies. That’s my whole point. The media, the world’s leaders, all tell the same lies over and over so many times that it becomes the truth to minds numbed by worldly pleasure.
They have always promised utopia and have only delivered more and more anguish. Look at the track record of these would be saviors throughout recorded history.
Luckily, we don’t need to start a campaign to encourage the Holy Father to join with all the bishops to bring this consecration to fulfillment. The Fatima center has been fighting this fight for many years against the enemies of our Lady’s message delivered at Fatima in 1917. Support them in this fight to get the message out while there is still time.
You could also send a simple note to the Holy Father in a blue envelope (blue for Our Lady) with the message: Holy Father for the love of God and obedience to the Blessed Virgin consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart NOW in union with the Bishops of the world.” We have nothing to lose by this simple act of love and obedience and everything to gain. Oh yes, on the back flap of the envelope write in caps “FATIMA”. Tell others to do this and before you know it there will be tons of blue envelopes in the Vatican mail making a clear statement. If you can’t get a blue envelope, just write “FATIMA” on the back of any envelope. We must act NOW. Our Sword (Rosary) must be swift and sure!
PRAY THE ROSARY DAILY!
Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary Mary

You are absolutely right and I could go on for hours over the changes. From Monsanto and their GMOs to the continued stripping of the Bill of Rights. I don’t know if you’ve known any police officers well, but yes there has been a vast change from being out to help people and protect to now having gestapo type officers. A society which continues to have less and less regard for the sanctity of life and more and more obsession with material toys. Yes it is a world problem continuing to get worse due to the greed of the world leaders and corporations.
I hope that others are reading this and able to see the pattern that is developing. I am getting my “Blue Envelope” ready to send to the Holy Father. Please do the same and encourage others to do so too. May God bless you and keep your faith strong. Here is the mailing address for the Holy Father in case you or anyone else may need it.

Curious on your opinion. Do you think the changes that have come about in our Catholic faith has been the result of Vatican II or brought in by the parishioners that have been influenced by a changing society? Some of the changes seem to have a mirror image of the changes in society as a whole. An example being divorce. About the same time society changed it to no fault divorce the Catholic Church became quite liberal with the Declaration on validity. Something that at one time was very difficult to get became pretty much just going through the motions.
Forever in our Lord and God’s Blessings
I think a lot of changes came about after Vatican II. With the infiltration of Masons in the hierarchy, whose main goal is to destroy the Church from within and the family unit. The bishops and priests have become more and more liberal. There is a scattering of clergy that still hold to the Traditions and Teachings as they have been handed down from the Apostles, but we have many who go with the wishes of the Masons and modernism which is condemned by the Church. The laity has been given the power to run parishes and it makes it very difficult for a priest to minster to them in the true ways of the Church; ie. the Novus Ordo, communion in the hand, assisting in the divorce process, just everything that has turned the Church on its ear these past 40 years. We had a priest who went into the Army for a while and was stationed in Iraq. He wrote back and was so proud of all the annulments he was helping with, that’s sad and sick. It’s not nostalgia, but to return to what is true and real Church. With all these changes since Vatican II, the Church is an imposter. She is dressed as a harlot almost unrecognizable. Strong words, but true.
Remain strong in your Faith
So pretty much the laity is bringing in the evil from the general society which only gets more and more corrupt with the obsession with immediate gratification and do whatever pleases at the moment.
And this is only one of the areas where the Catholic Church has changed so much and why I’m continually shocked at how so many approach Mass. It’s bad enough they take communion in the hand, but they go up like they’re taking chips off a buffet table at a party. I get the feeling there are of lot of people who would change Mass to 15 minutes if they could. I do talk to others about these things. Including having someone I’m sponsoring for Confirmation study Traditional and to compare to the “modern” Catholic Church.
May our Lord watch over and keep you safe
Happy Mother’ Day
Hoping that our Lord blessed you with a wonderful day.
[[f9.redflower1]] That’s an emoticon and is a pic of a red flower. lol sorry=best I could do. And with the cold weather bout the only flower around.
Praising Jesus Christ always
Thank you for the Mother’s Day greeting. I’m afraid I don’t remember if you ever told me whether you have children or not. If so, a very happy belated Mother’s Day to you. I was in the hospital for a few days for some surgery, amputations. All went well and the healing is complete. I’m trying to get back into the swing of things.

WOW!!!
I’m still searching for the right words to express how impressed I am. What you have endured-my heart goes out to ya. So much and yet you have such an impressive attitude. So soon and yet for you it’s time to “get back into the swing of things”. 😀 You’re quite the inspiration. I know I wouldn’t handle it so well. I think most people wouldn’t. (tipping my hat to the lady who walks in such a good way)
May our Lord watch over and comfort you.

I just wished to post about how happy I was the other day when Pope Francis made the statement that anyone seeking a closer relationship with God is welcome in the Catholic church. That it is not his to judge. Time not to just say all are welcome, but to mean it.
May the Peace of our Lord be with you always

In response to your comment made by Pope Francis, I only agree on the point that he is welcoming others to the Church. That is a duty of any Catholic to encourage the conversion of others. Since there is only one true Church in which there is true salvation. If you read in scripture, Paul’s Letter to the Romans Chp.1:26-32 DR), he explains quite well about those who desire such a way of life. Homosexuals that want to enter the Church or are already baptised members have an obligation to renounce that life-style and refrain from it. If a homesexual enters the Church and being baptised he /she is cleansed of all sin. But if after that returns to his/her previous life-style commits the terrible sin again and again. There is no real compunction and enters the Church under false pretense. How pleasing could that possibly be to God. A priest who knowingly baptizes a homosexual is wrong, and should have counceled that person on the real teachings of the Church. I have included a piece written by a very, very devout Catholic that knows her faith. She doesn’t mince words and tells it like it is. Maybe her explaination will help you to understand, and bring to you to your knees to pray for the Holy Father. What he said will surely make things worse for he Church. What the Pope said should really bring you to tears. Keep praying for the Consecration of Russia! May the Peace of the Risen Christ be with you, now and forever!
“Francis then said on the plane with regards to homosexual priests, “Who am I to judge?”
Who are you to judge? YOU ARE THE VICAR OF JESUS CHRIST ON EARTH. If you can’t judge whether or not one of the sins that cries out to God for vengeance is a disqualifier for high curial office, much less the priesthood, then what CAN you judge? Can you judge abortion? Can you judge the slaying of innocent children? Can you judge the stealing of pensions? Can you judge tyrants? Are you really so stupid that you think that when Our Blessed Lord said, “Judge not, lest ye be judged,” that He was calling for total societal anarchy, unrestricted license and total moral relativism, which is the abolition of the concept of sin itself? Really? Oh, except for the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate celebrating the Tridentine Mass. No, you can come down on THAT like a ton of bricks, but sodomy? Meh. Who are you to judge?
Okay. Now let’s talk about why homosexuals, even chaste homosexually-oriented men and women, must be disqualified from the priesthood and religious orders. I will speak in the context of the priesthood, but the argument applies to both genders. Same-sex attraction is rooted in self-loathing, as we have previously discussed. The homosexual hates himself and is thus drawn to people of the same gender out of a sense of envy, which is twisted into a form of eroticism. The homosexual desires and/or seeks masturbatory physical congress with others NOT so that he may give himself as a gift to the other, because remember, he hates himself. The homosexual lusts after other men because he seeks to selfishly consume their attractive traits and thus transform himself into someone else. Homosexual “sex” can never be anything but totally self-absorbed and narcissistic. And so we see that even this ORIENTATION, even without any physical acting out including solitary self-abuse, because it is rooted in self-loathing and envy IS ITSELF MASSIVELY DISORDERED AND SINFUL. A man erotically pining after another man is a sin. What about a man who “erotically loves” another man? There is no such thing. If Man A really loved Man B, he would be incapable of desiring sexual congress because same-sex physical congress is itself a massively irrational, hateful, violent, self-absorbed act.
Priests give their celibacy and chastity to Our Blessed Lord as a GIFT. They give themselves to Our Lord and espouse themselves to His Church. Now tell me this: if a man HATES HIMSELF, how can he possibly give himself as a gift? How can he love others in true charity if he hates himself?”
August 14th already. Hope you have a wonderful day. Hard to believe summer will soon be over for the year.
And going to be visiting your old alma mater. I lost track of an old friend. Ran into another one a couple days ago and they knew where the other one lives. Turns out after your alma mater was closed they converted it into apartments and that is where my friend is living so going to go visit the old hallowed halls you once roamed.
May Peace be with you always
It’s a real shame the academy was sold and now apartments. I hate to think of what they turned that beautiful chapel into. The nuns modified their habits my senior year and that broke my heart. I guess the whole Order has really been turned on its ear. What a terrible shame.
Peace
Sorry=it wasn’t my intent to stir sad-sad memories. I was hoping for sad-happy memories for ya. Smiles of remembering your school friend Kathy, Linda, Barb or whatever the name was and the dreams then of going to college or maybe the Peace Corp or maybe a doctor or possibly in the Catholic faith. They tore down my old school years ago and a sadness, but also stirs memories of many fun times with friends and the hopes. I only have contact with one from school and we do reminisce a ‘little’ 😀
Peace always
No problem. I have some great memories. Even though it was all girls, we still pulled some dumb stunts. It was just so disappointing to see the changes.
Peace That sounds better=great memories and a ‘few’ dumb stunts. Hope not so many great memories that they affected your grades. I kinda did that=maybe a ‘few’ too many great memories. Even in college when I had to work to pay my way I much preferred going out for great memories. Especially when the Kingtones(local dance band) was playing. So many great memories from listening and dancing to them and of course one very beautiful girl that I danced the most with. I always get a smile when the oldie station plays one of their songs.
I’ll see if I can find out something bout what happened to the chapel. I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t utilize it somewhere else so others could experience the love, inspiration and beauty.
Wishing you a joyful Thanksgiving day and hope that you will have a wonderful time with family and friends.

Thank you for your Thanksgiving Day well wishes, but alas, today shall be like any other. May God bless you and yours.
Thank you…it was a wonderful day and got to spend time with my godchild which is always a blessing. I do not deserve it but our Lord is so very kind to me.
🙁 It saddened and surprised me that it’s just another day for you. Of what I know of you I would have bet pretty big money you’d look forward to a reason for family and friends to get together to share the joy and love.
May the Peace and Love of our Lord be with you always

Wishing all the visitors to this site a most joyous Christmas season with the hope our Lord blesses you with the opportunity to gather with loved ones to gives thanks and praise to our Lord. I have a picture(not a good camera) that I wanted to share, but found out I can’t post it. It’s a very lovely Catholic chapel and the picture shows some of the beauty of that chapel. It has remained pretty intact although now it’s being used for spiritual use of Catholics and non Catholics in an atmosphere of lower income and challenged people. There are some Nuns who also reside there. I did send the picture to Suzanne and possibly she will decide to share it with you. It was such a pleasure to be able to spend time there in prayer.

I’ll see if I can upload the picture here. Is this the Mount’s Chapel?
Peace. Just got home from midnight Mass and it was beautiful as always. I love starting out Christmas day with Mass. A little chilly outside, but the church was nice and warm. Just wanted to stop in and wish everyone a very Joyous Christmas with hopes you can spend some time with loved ones and friends- whether in person or by phone or even internet.
May the peace and love of our Lord be with all of you always.

2013 is done. 🙂 I had more sadness than joy in it so very happy 2014 is here. Hoping that everyone reading this has a most joyful year and that it is a year that will help our Lord smile.

Thank you and a blessed New Year to you. 2014 could use a miracle or two. Oh, yes, the chapel at Mount looks empty, nothing like I remember. You said it was used for other denominations and that stands to reason why it would not be the same and the Novus Ordo is celebrated there now too 🙁
Yes we could use a miracle or two or maybe more. I spent a little time at the chapel today. It has a very nice feeling and much beauty there, but I have gotten the feeling that things are just different. Not having seen it before I didn’t know what has been changed, but it just didn’t ‘feel’ right to me. Now the beautiful organ is still there. I did get a newsletter there. It says “Worship Services: Catholic Communion: Saturdays at 6:15pm in Chapel with Deacon Stan.”
” Nondenominational: Sundays at 10:30am & 4pm”
Probably the Nuns that reside there go over to Valley for Mass.
I had kinda hoped that it was still the same and could have gotten you a really nice picture-would have made a nice desktop pic for your computer…but had the feeling that it had changed and that’s why I hadn’t gotten a nice camera for a good pic yet.
ej
I’ll get back to you on this shortly. We have been very busy due to the extreme frigid weather.
Thank you for the pictures. But it certainly doesn’t look the same to me. It is barren and there was no second altar for the Novus Ordo. The sisters kept the chapel well adorned and it seems like there were some statues around the altar, but that could be a poor memory. I remember the choir composed of Sisters and students that filled the air with their beautiful voices. The pews were filled with students starting with the freshmen up front, then the sophs, juniors and seniors in the back. Everyone had on their black chapel cap. It was mandatory to cover the head.
If a student didn’t attend Mass, she had to stay in the cafeteria as a study hall which was patrolled by one of the Sisters. You could always tell when a certain Sister was on duty because you could see the hems of uniforms that had been let out due to the girl(s) raising them to high. High hems were not permitted.
You stated that you had a feeling of something not being right. Well if they have Jesus in the tabernacle, you are probably feeling His sorrow for what goes on their with the pagan services and that there is no longer a Mass but a communion service with Deacon Stan. Jesus probably is glad to see someone there that is truly there for Him and is tugging at your heart. He is lonely for souls and the beauty of the true Mass.
I’m surprised that the side altars still have Our Lady of Grace and the Sacred Heart. Maybe the Sisters said they had to stay in the agreement for the use of the chapel.
Everything started to change my senior year when we showed up the first day and the Sisters were no longer wearing their beautiful Habits and changed to the blue dresses and modified veils showing the hairs. I think they had a supply of hair spray to keep it in place. This really broke my heart. I remember saying out loud to myself, “No, no, why did you do this?” I loved the Mount and I think it closed a year or two after I graduated. I felt it died when I saw the Habit change. It was no longer the Mount Mercy I knew and loved.
Here is a picture of the Sisters before the Habit change:
Here is what they changed to:
You might think that the change isn’t as bad as some, but it was not for the good of the Order.

Wow! Thank you for one of the nicest compliments I think I’ve ever gotten.
The chapel sounds like it was so very beautiful and Holy. It would be very nice to find a picture of it showing how it was back then. Obviously you don’t have one or you would have refreshed your memory. Did they have any in the yearbooks? I’m assuming that you did have yearbooks. Not sure how I’d find one, but who knows with the internet. And possibly I could find someone who would have a picture-must be someone out there who has one. Maybe if the bitter cold weather ever breaks I can get out and get a few things done. And I very much hope that you are surviving well in this. It certainly is one of the worst winters I’ve ever seen.
At the Church festival there are usually several nuns who are in traditional attire. It is always so impressive and has such an air of Holiness. I would imagine they are very warm, but the nuns appear to deal with it quite well. I do find it very sad that at Mass I only see nuns dressed in regular clothes. It’s been years since I’ve seen one wear their Habit. I also find it a very sad change and not for the good of our Catholic faith.
And not sure what your outfit looked like when you went, but I was at a Mass the other day. The children from the local Catholic school were assisting. I know you would be totally appalled at where the hem of the skirts are. I mention this because of your comment on some of the girls changing the hemline when you went to school. And I’m certain that you wouldn’t have ever ever thought of doing that(lol well maybe once)… some of the ones I saw were about 5 inches above the knees. If you didn’t ever consider changing the hemline I apologize, but I’ll guess at that age most or all at least thought about it once or twice even if they never did it.
May our Lord watch over and comfort you always.

You are very welcome. My memory is not very good these days and I was wrong in my last comment on the closing of the Mount. It seems that it was in the 80’s that it closed. Also the statue of Our Lady is not Our Lady of Grace, but it appears to be Our Lady of Lourdes. The problem is that the coloring is wrong. She did not have a blue veil and pink sash as this statue depicts. I don’t have a yearbook anymore, not for many years. I am placing a link to a web site where you can view some of the yearbooks from years past, but only small pictures of the pages unless you pay to see otherwise. I think there are some of the chapel in the 1958-59 books. http://www.e-yearbook.com/Mt_Mercy_Academy_Mercian_Yearbook
Maybe you can find your yearbook on this site. 🙂

I can pretty safely say that your memory appears far better than mine. You are correct on the lack of clarity on the pics. I even went to classmates. There is a nice picture of what appears to be the graduating class and it’s in the chapel. I can tell that it is quite different with there being much more there when you attended. I was looking at the yearbook for 1966. I think they make the pictures very low quality so that people spend for a membership or buying a yearbook.
I think just for the challenge I will find a nice picture of the chapel… it’ll just have to wait for warmer weather. And I do know someone at St Andrews so they might have things in the archives. 🙂
Peace
I haven’t found a pic yet, but haven’t looked. Having more fun dealing with the snow and cold. 😛
I value your opinion and knowledge and at Mass on 2-16 the Gospel had as part of it reference on marriage and ramifications of divorce if the marriage is lawful. My experience with lawful would be of the legal system which is pretty much based on Church laws. For a marriage to be lawful(valid) it generally only takes of the age of consent, not too closely related and not of force or coercion. Also understanding that our Church requires a marriage take place in the Catholic church or in like a Methodist or Congregational believing in the Holy Trinity and with approval of the Diocese. What research information I’m able to locate is that even in abusive relationships one can leave, but if the marriage is lawful(valid) then that person is still married. I ask this due to the Gospel stating severe ramification of sin. Since my impression of a lawful(valid) marriage having only a few simple elements I don’t understand how so many annulments(declaration on validity) can be given since it takes so little to legitimize it.
Thank you for your time and thoughts and I hope you’re surviving the winter. I think the worst I’ve seen in my lifetime. Yes I’m using you kind of like a sponsor. You’re very knowledgeable and well grounded. 😀
ej
Thank for your confidence in my opinion, but I am going to refer your concerns to a very good traditional priest and get back to you as soon as possible. I am not qualified to address these questions and concerns about marriage and divorce. 🙂
Here is the response that I got from Father:
Laudetur Jesus Christus!
I have a nice listing of all the reasons why a marriage can be declared invalid, but I do not have it on this portable computer. I am away from home on a mission at the moment. In any case, there are reasons why annulments can be granted…. People are crafty …and can put on a good show. But today it is known that there are many who are granted annulments who should not be. On the web there is a site that does address this… I think. http://www.marysadvocates.org/
Hope this helps a little.
I have made a quick visit to the site and I think it may answer your questions. When Father returns home, he might send me more. If so, I’ll certainly pass it on to you.
Thank you for getting back so quickly..see you’re an excellent sponsor 😀
The link is fantastic and gives much insight into how it really is and how the liberalism of no fault divorce and annulments in the last 45 years has been detrimental to society and our Catholic faith. I think there is a sad perception amongst Catholics that if an annulment is given that it is absolute fact. Last Sunday’ Gospel reading really got me thinking about it again. The Gospel was very clear, but mentioned a marriage can be unlawful. Since my feelings are that there isn’t much to make a marriage valid I should find out our Church’ position on it. First place I thought of looking was You. 😀
I”m going to be reading more and giving contemplation to the information on that site and will get back to you. As I mentioned before I have a Godchild who is growing up and when the time comes I hope to have him well aware of what a valid marriage is and that as long as it’s valid on that day it Can Not be broken or set aside by man. And of what I see I certainly wouldn’t trust the validity of the annulments(declaration on validity) of our Catholic church as it has operated in the last 45 to 50 years.

WOW! listen to you being a Godparent that takes their duties to heart and just doesn’t wear it a badge to boast about. May God bless you abundantly and grant you the graces to continue to educate your Godchild in the true Roman Catholic Faith until you draw your last breath. Laudetur Jesus Christus!
Amen Now you’re making me blush. Thank you for the compliment, but I think I only do what is normally expected. I did give very serious thought and prayer when asked. When I accepted I did vow to try and be a good Godparent and asked in prayer for help in doing my responsibilities. I was also able to be his sponsor during his journey for Confirmation and utilized information from you in our discussions. He did a special section on Traditional and modern, how they differ and the effect the changes have had and are these changes good for our Catholic faith. He is one of four people that have been in my life that I have been truly thankful for the Blessing that they are and the wonderful positive effect they have had. He will understand a lawful marriage and that an annulment is not positive proof that a marriage is unlawful. Also that the modern Catholic Church(since the sixties) uses questionable determinants in deciding the validity. Traditional Catholic method appears to have used better defined and more accurate guidelines. This is only from what information I have gathered so far from others.

What you are doing for your godchild is what is expected, but there are many who just wear the patch on their sleeve and call it good, taking no real concern about the welfare of the child’s soul. Don’t give up or relax your vigilance for this soul. One of the Saints said something like this, “to help a soul reach Heaven will ensure your own passage.” So, please keep alert and be like one of the wise virgins and keep your godchild on the correct path.

Sorry but I’m not worthy of going there, but I will do everything I can to help my godchild to have a chance. Such a wonderful child and blessing. We talk often about important things and I do ask our Lord for guidance.
I am getting really tired of the constant cold weather in Michigan. Is it ever going to end? I feel it’s more than time for a little spring weather. I’m anxious to see a few flowers popping up.
I hope all is well with you and that our Lord is watching over and comforting you.

Maybe one of these days I’ll do an article on the duties and responsibilities of godparents. Hmmmmm
Thanks for the idea. 🙂
I think you have a wonderful idea and would love to see you do an article on it. One that would have been very useful to me when I was asked. I wasn’t Catholic at the time and was pretty unsure what was expected. It would be great to see what the duties and responsibilities are and if I’m even close on what I’m doing. Now if I’m not very close I’m going to blame you for not giving me the information sooner because you knew then what I was supposed to do. lol
Pssst I think winter might be starting to break-I sure hope so. I think we’re overdue for some warmer weather. 😀

I’ve begun working on it. Stay tuned and I’ll try to have it posted as soon as I can. 🙂
Yes, winter has been long enough, but for us… It’s not over yet.
Starting to see a little ray of hope that spring is approaching. I think I’ll start spring regardless of what the weather does. lol 😀
I’m staying tuned and although anxious to see your article I am patient. I have the utmost faith in you and that the article will be excellent, honest and accurate. I’m hoping to use it to see how well I’m doing. If not doing well then you’ll be helping me to be on the right path(you already do in other areas) and I’ll just be that much more in your debt for all that you’ve done for me.
May our Lord continue to watch over and comfort you and help with your needs. JM+JT

It’s almost ready. I need to have my critic and proof-reader go through it again.
