Elizabeth of the Trinity
On July 18th, in the year 1880, Elizabeth was born to Marie and Joseph Catez in D’Avor, France. Later on, in a letter written to her husband Joseph, Marie Catez described this healthy and energetic child, who would one day be called ‘Blessed’, as “a real devil”.
Entering the Order of Carmel in 1901, she would to become ‘Elizabeth of the Trinity.’ She received her last communion on November 1st, 1906 and died November 9th at the Carmel in Dijon, France.
Beatification was to come to this holy soul on November 25th, 1984 by Pope John Paul II. Her feast day is celebrated by the Church on November 8th.
